these ZF boxes have no speed sensor, only the later electronic ZF's have then as fitted in the D2's and P38's, they thus have no ECU either, |

We often see this diameter chewed up from a failed spigot bearing,
I cant be sure from the photo but the diameter doesnt look very good,

as above, i suspect its either just the new 3/4 hub thats tight or possibly the bias if you find it shifts better when you move the lever to the left or right of where it wants to go,

not to do this, I am not a fan of the sliding collar locker design,
it would end up as compromise of both designs. |

When I had a Td5 90 that had a T box labelled as 1.6. But if it was a 1.6 box I would have had a lot lower top end speed and much more revs/noise. You wouldn’t want to do motorway with a 1.6 box.

Box is stamped 13D, and according to the LT230 info on this page - http://www.red90.ca/rovers/gears.html - that makes it a 1.667.
