Automatic shifter options
Mr. Green Hi there,

I planning to do the automatic transmission conversion from Ashcroft. Unfortunately the gear shifter that I wanted isn’t available (the one that Kahn design use)

This is the one available, can you help me find a direct replacement either to the whole shifter unit or at least the stick

Hi,

its not that easy, the shifter gates that denote each of the 7 positions must be correct for the 4HP22, you can just use any shifter or the shifter gate won't allow the gearbox selector shaft to be in the correct orientation which will cause a box failure,
