Make sure you get the one with the battery terminals near the edge of the battery. I couldn't use mine because the mega fuse connector wasn't long enough. Put it on my disco instead.

The Haynes manual says, Brake disk pad thickness 3mm. That's how it's written so i assume it means disks and pads.Your disks should be fine after only 40k if not abused.
