Sorry blackwolf, think you might be wrong on this? All the weight on that corner is resting on the bottom bearing of the swivel. The top swivel pin bolts only contain the preload.

Did they say what the problem with the fuel pump was? You don't really touch the pump or fueling settings when changing a TDI timing belt so I wonder just what has happened here?
