I’m taking bets as to when the men in white coats and special jackets they put on you will come to visit Gerry!
He has done some brilliant cars - MG F, Freelander 1, RRS to name some but even though I like the new Defender I don’t think it’s his career design high point, it’s a bit clumsy - almost American SUV styling, it wouldn’t look out of place with a Caddy Escalade grille on it...........especially on a black 110 Rolling with laughter Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

A fair review to be honest.

While looking at the front of both vehicles I think if left is the father, right is definitely a step child. Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR

I like the Pangea Green with black roof and black wheels - not as nice as white roof with white steelies but close enough.

I’ll give the sign writing down the sides a miss though Embarassed Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Camera work improved though Laughing

I thought the review was ok but would’ve preferred a more in depth look.

I’ll keep watching powerfulUKs videos I’ve warmed to him.

I think he only had the car for a couple of hours as a demo - still had all the shipping papers and markings on the windscreen! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Rolling Eyes and as I suspected, the drive lever is placed in such a position that you have to consciously (awkwardly?) reach around it to get to the screen as seen at the 2:38 mark

Eelpout, you can use the steering wheel left hand controls to operate the centre screen without reaching around the gear lever to touch the screen. There are a couple of small mistakes he makes due to being unfamiliar with the car I think. I only got a 15 minute test drive but found the touch screen as good as or better than the BMW MMI system in my. Mini Countryman that I’m used to and much It’s faster too. The volume control for the Audio can be adjusted using the scroll wheel you can see on the left side of the steering wheel. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

The volume knob is more for the passenger, all the media controls can be accessed by the driver from the wheel without taking eyes off the road. media information will also be on the drivers console.

that gear shift could get annoying though it is something i keep looking at. A third wheel to match the others may have been an option. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

If anyone wants to download the owners e-Manual for new Defender - aka iGuide - then you can get it for free from the App Store for Apple products - I assume it is also available for Android equipment too. Same app also covers all Land Rovers and Range Rovers Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
