Is the vehicle re-mapped ? 130's have feeling's as well you know

it is but currently runing it without it even so there still must be a way ? 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs
3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit ashcroft atb in transfer box 6 speed auto in build |

Have you checked the turbo inlet hose? It tends to rub against a bolt and develop a leak, leading to the whistling sound.

interesting did you ever resolve it with new gasket or anything what was the result? 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs

i had this on my TD5 130 as i do have a tune on it it had expanded the manifold and bust off bolts and twisted the manifold so had J&E fix it with a new one with some sort of expansion thingy in bob on no problem RLD fabricator of Hidden Winch Mount for D3/4 roof racks jerry can holders CB aerial mounts and much more and agent for Helsport Tents and gear

Exhaust manifold warping on TD5s is a known problem - especially when tunde due to the extra heat. I had the 90 done in December and the 110 was done earlier last year. John

Is the whistle harmful? My puma whistles or sounds likes an ambulance is behind me at times. I just thought it was the normal turbo sound

its the result of possible warped manifold or turbo flages and/or the gasket between them

We've had the manifolds skimmed on both the Raiders - I was advised to skim them rather than replace them as once they warp due to the heat they shouldn't do the same again. John

hmm, that does sound like a warped exhaust manifold. A tell-tale sign is black soot around the manifold |

on td5 the temp is higher than on a a puma
