I'm pretty sure the issue is with the volumetric sensor.
I changed the bonnet switch fairly recently and light to moderate pushes on the bonnet don't trigger the alarm.

Thursday morning the alarm on my 2002 TD5 110 went off at 06.25, which for me wasn't too bad as I was due to get up at 06.30 anyway! However, I don't think my neighbours were too pleased though!

Sorry Macfrank, I'm still confused!

| Thanks, however the rear door switch wire would turn the front light on and off before the rear lamp was fitted and I have connected to the same wire and surely it goes through to the ecu as well?! |

Depends what model and what switch!
As long as there is a flashing light inside on the dash somewhere and all the indicators are flashing, then the job is a good'un! |
