If it is the O/S front wire, it will probably go to the ECU.

Ultimately it will depend on the insurer. Churchill noted that I have fitted Boost Alloys, but it did not alter the premium.

I'm pretty sure the issue is with the volumetric sensor.

Thanks, however the rear door switch wire would turn the front light on and off before the rear lamp was fitted and I have connected to the same wire and surely it goes through to the ecu as well?!

Depends what model and what switch!

As long as there is a flashing light inside on the dash somewhere and all the indicators are flashing, then the job is a good'un!

The lights are LEDs, but it can't be a polarity issue as they both turn on & off manually and both go on & off when the rear door is opened and closed.
