i was very lucky and picked up a new old stock unit from Ebay for £250 apart from a some surface rust on the usual parts it was perfect, made a huge difference when fitted too.

| 120k is nothng really, a good service history and a clean straight motor at the right price your looking pretty good. check the usual obviously eg corrosion on chassis and bulkhead, oil leaks etc. |

yeah the alarm light works fine, flashes when it should and goes out when ignition on
I've got a bit of time tomorrow to take a look before i got to Billing Friday.
hopefully its an earth issue so ... |

What causes the engine not to start, when the ignition is on temperature needle goes straight to red even on a cold engine. Ignition off and on a few times solves it.
