Hi Bluest, no easy answer without good kit. Alot still has to be done by hand even then... there are no easy short cuts but this short Kranzle nozzle to my requested spec on a Kranzle HD 7/122 TS makes "crud removal" work far more effective. Details are a few pages back. Belated Xmas present maybe Wink

Something different from Staffordshire... er and a challenge Whistle Ex Scottish Energy Defender. Interesting differences and additions to the chassis to cope with the extra weight.

My job for today... deep clean and polish, treat rust on seat frames and respray. I love smartening up work, I used to enters cars for Concourse De Elegance competitions, even won a few cups at club level Very Happy Top tip from those days. You know some material gets fluffy and worn! Well shave it with an old shaver Wink

Shave fluff off then use sticky tape to get bits out!

Just doing that at the moment and horse hair 'Bluest'. Just a combination of sticky tape, and rubbing quickly with a powerful vacumn nozzle. Hold the nozzle at the bottom almost like a pen and flick from side to side quickly Thumbs Up There is no easy, quick way I know, just have to put the graft in on small areas at a time. I have definitely underestimated the cost of doing this job Shocked Laughing Oh well, it makes a change from rust and I enjoy doing it, the lady client will be really pleased as well Whistle

I used to know a valeter who used a can of dark grey spray paint. When he couldn't get the hairs out of the pile he would spray paint them to match.
