Yes Click image to enlarge "BMW has built petrol engines at its Hams Hall plant in Coleshill for use in several factories around the world since 2001. A BMW spokesman said the decision has not resulted in a cut to the total number of engines being made at Hams Hall – which stood at 377,000 in 2018 – as production for engines to be used in the US has increased." https://www.bmwblog.com/2019/07/09/bmw-has...to-brexit/

IIRC Ineos are buying stock 3 litre straight 6 twin turbos. They will be detuned so as not to outdo BM's own cars. So most likely B57, B58 etc. I think they are made in Austria. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm.

The TwinPower range is modular, so there's a choice of 3-cylinder (B38), 4-cylinder (B48) and 6-cylinder (B58). All the official announcements also talk of a "powertrain technology partnership", which sounds like it could include more than just the engine. If it's the B58 then it seems to be well liked: Yet Another Spectacular 6-Cyl. Turbo from BMW https://www.wardsauto.com/10-best-engines-...-turbo-bmw

"Some show the underneath of the vehicle as it tackles off-road terrain but there is also a brief shot of three Grenadiers on the move." https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/uk-...r-17505073 Not convinced

In a Defender the BMW straight 6 diesel is stunning so it could be a good move. Well at least until EV takes over the world. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm.

Coventry live is getting a bit ahead of themselves, I don’t think any of those are Grenadier, just various old Landys in mud. As far as I can tell, the only public image of anything real is the chassis testing mule with a Ford Endeavour body balanced on top. Click image to enlarge 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

The BMW B58 motor is spot on, been running them since they came out and would love to see one in a proper 4x4.
