does it matter if you have a 2.2 or 2.4 tdci, is wabco in both

yes 2.2 is a later abs unit and not interchangeable if i remember rightly.

You are correct Neon1991. The 2.2 Puma has a Bosch ABS unit, not a Wabco .

Bosch or no ABS - on the early ones 2012/2013 you may still opt for a non-ABS spec

Hey all! First time posting here ![]() I have a 2008 Defender 2.4 with an potentially pooched Wabco ABS Module. I have found a scrapped 2004 Discovery 2 in my area and hoping the switcharoo outlined in this thread will work on my truck too? By all accounts, it appears to be a compatible part. Nonetheless, im going to pull all the parts from the donor Disco2 and hopefully this works on my Wabco unit. Thanks so much in advance and happy to be joining the site ![]() |
