You are correct Neon1991. The 2.2 Puma has a Bosch ABS unit, not a Wabco .

Bosch or no ABS - on the early ones 2012/2013 you may still opt for a non-ABS spec

Any help much appreciated, similar problem
Hi all, I’m facing the same issue and have been looking for a solution for a couple of months. I bought a defender 2007 2.4 Puma recently and need to replace the ABS modulator (part SRB500550) and the Disco hack sounds amazing. I was wondering, do you know the part number of the Disco unit by any chance? I ask as there look to be a few Disco 2 units with differing part numbers. Thank you so much in advance, keen to get back on the road!

Thanks so much Ianh, unfortunately I’ve tried ECU and the unit is not able to be repaired.

Hey all! First time posting here Smile
I have a 2008 Defender 2.4 with an potentially pooched Wabco ABS Module.
I have found a scrapped 2004 Discovery 2 in my area and hoping the switcharoo outlined in this thread will work on my truck too? By all accounts, it appears to be a compatible part. Nonetheless, im going to pull all the parts from the donor Disco2 and hopefully this works on my Wabco unit.

Thanks so much in advance and happy to be joining the site Smile
