What do you guys use to compare ccfs?

I use a program called beyond compare by scooter software. I have it for comparing source code, but it compares a lot of things very well. Not affiliated with scooter, but really like the app.

I use visual studio code with a diff plugin, excel tables sometimes, and even a sql db so I can use query language to do analysis. I'm one of the guys trying to figure out ACC, so I've used many tools to pull my hair out. Very Happy Thinking of using an AI tool if I can find one that can handle that sort of thing.

Cheers,

VS code. The built-in compare function worked really well for my needs.

On a Mac I use a programme called Kaleidoscope, you can lay 2 or however many ccf files together and it highlights the differences shown by the blue lines. (I have blurred some personal details on the image) Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up thanks for the head’s up! Ran the updater and sure enough so far 2 of my 5 changes worked on first startup. Will let the others sit overnight and check again.

Okay so I got 007 screen, seatbelt remainder mute, auto start/stop remember and blinker/headlight combo to all work, but having trouble with dynamic mode. Am I doing something wrong? Or missing something? It’s been 1.5 days, numerous engine starts, 4-5 pivi resets …

I get the dynamic mode option screen but I can not see or select the dynamic mode icon with the rotary:

Even though the icon shows up on my dash screen when I move the rotary (just can not move it beyond the ECO mode icon):

I double checked that all files were correct as listed below:

Any insight? Did anyone else see the same results? Do I just need to wait longer for it to take effect?

Thanks for any info

hello,

try not to change the multican 777, leave the default setting.
initially it was not changed 777, the dynamic mode icon appeared on the touch screen and clicked on the screen.
double check that all this is modified.

if it doesn't work, post your total ccf sure we can compare it.

Marco

This is what I had changed when it was working for me.

EUCD - 245 Dynamic 1 set to “Dynamic 1 Content with Configurable Dynamic Mode Screen”

MultiCAN - 562 DynamicProgMode. Set to “Available for Selection Without Timeout”

MultiCAN - 605 ConfigDynamicMode. Set to “Fitted”

MultiCAN - 682 DynamicLiteMode. Set to “Available for Selection Without Timeout”

MultiCAN - 777 Ter Dyn Select In FCPB. Set to “rotary used for selection within touch screen”

Try running this command on your IID tool

Menu>Service Test>IDMA>Allow Central Configuration Data Learning

and see if that allows selection. Cheers Ian

I did not set MultiCAN - 682 DynamicLiteMode. Set to “Available for Selection Without Timeout” , and mine seems to work fine WRT selecting past eco to dynamic. What do you get with DynamicLiteMode?

Also, I’m just in the habit of resetting the PIVI twice after each change that affects the HMI.

I set MultiCAN-740 Drive Away Door Lock to Disabled, and that worked, if anyone is interested in that.

I tried MultiCAN-514 StopStartInhibitIcon to Stop Start Inhibited Icon disabled (Non-CFSS), hoping to get the icon off the cluster while my auto stop start is inhibited, but that did something other than I wanted if it did anything.

I wonder if you set this to enabled it makes it go away? The way it is written, it seems to me that enabled means it is inhibited.
