Naks,

the replacement clutch you have pictured seems exactly the same as the AP driveline from paddocks which was delivered to me half an hour ago.

There is a difference in the number printed on the one side, i have a shorter number and a production date :

Just got the truck back and drove the 3km from the stealer to the office in traffic.

Wow, I don't think the landy has ever felt so good - the gear changes do not clunk anymore, there is very little or no drivetrain slack.

Simply amazing, even when brand new it didn't behave so well. I'm hoping this is not just my senses fooling me after being away from it for so long

Ok, so I've had my 2010 90 for a month now and have heard the clutter in neutral as described elsewhere in the forum, only problem is that the two occasions that I have taken her to LR the noise was absent! Have it on video and sent it to them so waiting for a reply, still under warranty so I want to know if I should make more of a fuss about this Question

Make a fuss, make a bl%%dy big fuss until they sort it out. You can refer to my case to push for a replacement with the latest clutch. --

Finally, Ford is bringing the Transit to South Africa. Maybe this will mean we can buy parts from Ford when out of warranty! Thumbs Up --

2007 110 SW, 120,000 kms including lots of towing with 500to 3300kg trailers, as well as lots of M-way with about 700kgs in the car.

Original clutch, no judder, rattle or other problems observed so far.

Just got back from Spain. Mine has now started to rattle like a gooden!!!! Big Cry From reading here I think the springs are all lose but at least I made it back to blighty.

If only it had started this four months ago when I was i warrantee Evil or Very Mad

This one has lasted (09 truck) for 27k miles where as the 07 110 had two in 14k so there is an improvement.

Do you think it is worth trying land rover to see if they will do anythig or just buy a clutch kit and do it?

Boy

thanks!

As an aside, sounds like the 'new' clutch plate LR Stellenbosch put in my landy a few months ago is starting to rattle like the original... Confused

Edit: The part number for the clutch plate that went into my truck is LR012199 whereas the one in this TSB is LR029894. Are there any differences, and if so what are they? --

So finally got my 90 back, clutch chatter free!
Now the gears feel a bit sticky, no problems when changing slowly but not as quick as it was before.
