2010, 26,500 miles on the clock and no change..... But getting serious judder in 6th at 1800 rpm, bad gear shifting crunch and a slight lurch when going into 1st from standstill... So far 3 dealers have refused to swap it out.... Usual story.. "they all do it.." ... ,-------,

2008. 56000km. 1st clutch, no exchange.
2 years ago regularly had a bit of rattle when going back to idle. informed the dealer, somehow problem seems to have disappeared altogether.... doubt dealer did anything at all,as was same story.... "that is normal sound sir" You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Bow down forgive my colour ignorance

I am sure it was the new one, as I had to sent back the old one (bough in 2011, stamped on the part 2007). Janusz

My 2007 had a replacement clutch under warranty due to the rattle issues I guess at around 10,000 miles.

Current 2010 still has original clutch currently on 15,000 miles. The clutch pedal itself has given some issues on this vehicle and will be on my list of things for them to look at during the next service. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
