Regarding the new Lego images, zooming in now I think I do see headlamp covers after all. It was hard to see in the original LEGO leak (box cover). So, the real non-brick Defender will most likely have these rectangular shields. Not a fan yet. We’ll see.

I took another look. Not quite sure the LEGO model has headlamp covers , from this rip perspective, the turn signals extend out beyond the “groove” where I assumed the cover would fit.

I still think your right, that there will be a cover, or one avail.

I like it without the cover. The LEGO version has me hopeful we’ll see a big round classic headlight without any protection.
Thanks Blackie.

Nah, I got bored with the whole deal a long time ago now Laughing Besides, after a gap of 20 years I just bought another one of these and it's a shed load more fun than looking at and postulating over Lego models Wink

Judging by those drapes, the door handles , the wing mirrors and the wheel arch eyebrows protrude beyond the body. Then there is a distinct protrusion where the grill is. what's left to reveal? Rolling with laughter 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
