Body's are completely different to defenders. The roof, wings and doors are the only bolt on panels - the rest is spot welded. As I replace panels I am seam welding them in to prevent moisture getting between the panels and in the box sections Thumbs Up

I will see if I can find the link to the sealant I used for patch my dads seatbox up, It will help bond the panels together in areas you cannot weld. Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Thanks chaps. The shell is all original inc boot floor. Inner sills are good, outer sills will be replaced.

The main work will be the front end as the inner wings are shot to pieces. Once the sills are sorted the plan is to cut off the front end and get the body on the chassis. That will then allow me to line up the new front end with the chassis and get it all welded on. Then it's just a case of sorting th body panels which are pretty good Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Not really no. I replaced the bottom 25mm or so of inner sill, mostly as a prevention as it would probably have needed doing in the next couple of years or so. The rest is solid. Inner wings, outer sills and then it just cosmetic bits really Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
