110 vomiting diesel
When I fill my 110 with diesel at the pumps, it fills a little and then vomits some of it back out at me. I take it there is some sort of air lock problem somewhere.
Has anyone had this problem with their defender?

If you are using a std sized pump in would suggest blocked breather. If a high speed out lorry pump then prob just what it will do.q Cheers

My old ones with the slide up filter tube did that but the new ones without the filter tube don't.
I just learnt to hear the sound that signalled impeding trouser slosh and back off the pump accordingly to let it settle.
I think you are better off have the tube pulled up if you have one.

Its a 2002 TD5 110 DCPU
Filling at standard fuel pumps jst
The first time it happened Nevillerover I got caught by the splash Evil or Very Mad I can fill it slowly but you know your self when you are in a hurry and you hop out in good cloths, thats when I will forget about it and end up wearing Eau De Diesel

blocked or kinked breather pipe ?

maybe hold nozzle at different angle , sometimes if nozzle pointing upwards in the filler neck it blocks the breather outlet in the neck or the flow of diesel pushes down breather outlet causing blow back
