2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey

2009 - 90 pulling to left ?

Just picked up my 2009 Defender 90 and love it other than the steering wheel isnt true. In a straight line it's way offline, also the car does seem to pull a bit to the left, but that could be the lousy roads.

Any ideas???

2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Tonga Green

Whip the centre cap off, oh get the wheels facing forwards first, then cap off, undo big nut in the middle, pull steering wheel off, and place true on the splines do but up, replace cap and bobs your granny 90 Puma HT

Put some Vaseline on a screw driver, and ease in from top or btm, the edges have longer bits on! Then leaver out gently!!

Regarding the pulling to the left..

Check you tyre pressures

Do you get any steering wobble at specific speeds? - check your steering damper

Otherwise check with CR - he has the same problem unless he's fixed it

what he said. if they're all find check your track rod ends and rod itself. if thats all ok get it laser tracked. if that doesn't solve it check the steering box.

I thought mine was drifting to the left quite a bit, until we left the UK on a trip to France. On straight roads it was perfectly fine.

Back in the UK, again started drifting to the left. In my case it was a subtle drift, due to the surface camber (sp?).
