Yep. Totally agree. The part is specifically designed for bike carrier and 80kg load. No more than that and certainly not for normal towing.

2015 90. I use millers c1 oil. I get between 1 and 4 seconds for the oil light to go out. Random and never goes longer than 4 secs.

Thanks. Yes the screws are removed but the catch isn’t coming out of the glass. Not sure if it is bonded or just a bit stuck with time. Didn’t want to pry and damage the glass. 🙏
