Thanks, will have a look. Think the spades should be ok. Had that problem a few years ago and sorted it. I seem to have had most of the common TD5 issues.

I would suggest drilling a small 3mm hole through both flanges and use a small tie wrap to secure. More reliable than the factory catch

Had same problem on mine a few years ago. Replaced seals didn't sort it. Got a new AMC Head and have had no issues since. I could not see any cracks on the old head when examined

Any A1, B1 semi or fully synthetic 5W30 or 5W40. If changing at 6000 miles use semi, if changing at 12,000 miles fully synthetic is better.

I never went near the lash adjusters when I did mine but I did replace the injector rocker arm bolts along with the injector adjustment screws and lock nuts.

Couple of tips. If you put insulation tape over the grove in the injector it helps prevent the seal twisting when you fit it.

Thanks for clarifying that. In mine the main relay sits beside the fuel pump relay under the seat and was the main relay that gave problems.
