| When I rebuilt a t/box some time back, I fitted a new front bearing and it had just as much play as the old one. |

One piece shafts are best here, there's no chance of any play at all.

| Reminds me of an old lightweight I once had, was an ex RM arctic one, and had the remnants of a mahoosive heater between the front seats with 4 pipes like you're fitting going off around the vehicle. |

As a side note.... I cleaned the oil out of the water by adding some washing powder to the header tank.
