A friend changed the ratios on his 110, and at 70+ the noise dropped from 'what did you say?' to 'This Defender has a radio!'... but his 110 has no sound proofing which may be a difference

I believe 1.410 are usually standard on all Defenders, but can be replaced by the 1.222 gear ratios as came fitted to Disco's.
