I am starting to consider not registering mine here if it means no parking tickets!!!
I must say people who can't park in the lines should get a ticket- how hard is it? In Cyprus they are terrible at parking- they just stop and get out wherever they like........ I always enjoy playing a game: Find a car that is taking up 2 spaces. Park next to it (I always make sure I am in my lines) blocking them from getting in their drivers door. Have a coffee where I can see the truck and have a good laugh when they have to crawl through their car!! Glyn ![]() ![]() |

To the OP.... you should go and get the manager out of his office, and point out all the rangies/disco's and everything else that you know to be over that weight limit, watch him get the tickets issued, then watch Morrisons back pedal as they lose countless custom from yummie-mums as they vote with their feet (or wheels...)

That sign seems very out of date! It talks about Orange Badges, which have been replaced by the Blue Disabled Badges ,any years ago!
Then it talks about the weight in "CWT"! Which is a Centum Weight/Hundredweight! (Equal to 50.8 KG IIRC!) ![]() "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" ![]() |

It looks like it is a local Authority carpark with Morrisons name on the sign. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to ![]() Richard |

Eric, I think the carpark is owned by the city council, and you can tear off a section of the ticket and give it at the till for a refund in the store ![]() |

I'd have told them to check the CCTV that she was IN the supermarket, showed them the receipts of the coffee and cake, then told them to stick their charge!
(civil courts can't "fine" people, it's a "charge"... only the police or magistrates courts can issue fines.) |

I believe it is a civil offence so they would have to take you to court to enforce the penalty.
I guess that is why they specifically exempt foreign plates as it would be costly and futile to enforce. |

I had a fine for parking right outside tesco main entrance.
I told the ginger warden what I thought of him Drove off before he put ticket on car Had letter saying I was naughty and I should pay £100 for the priviiege. Said my car was black when its grey really! So I get off but I ignore it I ignore a further 12 demands in various bold and colourful letters glad of the fuel to light the kindling in my woodburner Stopped or given up finally about 6 months ago after 9months chasing for something they aint ever going to get Done it for years as I park where I like in private car parks, although council owned are a no no as they WILL get your money. 2011 Santorini Black USW XS. 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS |
