Mine's a D300. With summer in Tokyo my idle speed in Drive has gone up by ~100rpm from 650 to 750rpm
In Park it rises to 950 rpm.

They did it because they get better margins since it's mainly software.
D300 already has the beefier brakes, additional aux radiator, and perhaps other parts tuned for the hig ... |

That 8 year extended warranty seems like a steal.... just the DRL halo/headlight combo is around 4k USD. |
