Made a big difference for me. Mine had a fair few scuffs, but the surrounding paintwork was untouched.

Definitely.
Mine are quite scratched up from narrow lanes and once when I was in a very narrow car park. In winter I also prop the skis and snowboards against them without worrying about the paintwork. Yes — they help, but only up to a point.
On mine, the extended arch protectors do make a noticeable difference for: Light brush/hedges and car-park scuffs — the plastic takes the scrape instead of the paint. Mud/stone rash down the doors and rockers — noticeably less after wet lanes. Attaching a pic of what it looked like right after I installed it. ![]() |
