Try 2 x Glowplug cycles before firing the starter, i.e.: Glowplugs on - wait for light out - ign off/on - Glowplug light goes out 2nd time- Starter. Any difference???
If so could be a Glowplug, but ... |

Well today, behaved properly. Temp went upto 91c on a hill, after 8 miles of country B road then promptly dropped back to 85c.
On way home, much warmer stayed between 85c and 90c, except after accele ... |

Thanks munch90. So it is unlikely to be the viscous fan. Airflow through radiator fine, never been off roading in mud etc, just farmers tracks and camping fields.

So did the horn sound change before or after the Trucklites were installed. If after, seeing as the horns are behind headlights, then definitely check connections.  |

| When you have the vehicle upto temp, switch off and lying under front feel the radiator . Warm or cold. If cold then thermostat. If warm then probably fan. |
