Turned out to be an immobiliser problem. Pete sent me a new map which by passes the immobiliser and hey presto, started straight up. Should never happen again.

2008 tdci 2.4 puma auto won’t start.
Stopped at fuel station and refilled, on starting, nothing happened.
Eventually, it would turn over briefly, but not start. No power to starter. Turn everythin ... |
