90 rear disc conversion
Hi guys, was wondering if there are any brake gurus out there that can help. When strapping on a rear axle from disco 1 to my 84 model 90, which pressure senser should I use. There original is the G load. I had intended to run twin brake pipes to front but have changed my mind and using single instead. I bought a new disco valve but if I install this as in the disco I'll have primary circuit running back and left front with secondary running right front. Is this a good idea? Cheers

I've done numerous disc braked axle swaps onto 90's, mine and friends.

I've always just fitted the axle and connected the flexi pipe up, and left it at that. never touched any proprtioning valves (some have had them fitted, some earlier models didn't) and they all braked just fine, passed the MoT's, and didn't try to swap ends when you brake hard (the rear pads are quite a lot smaller than the front, and only twin piston per caliper so a lot less braking force compared to the front)

i have done about 4 conversions like this and have done the same as Jamie, all work fine as is.

when you say one pipe to the front i take it you mean to each caliper. Cheers
