I had something similar recently after hitting a pothole. It was a cracked inlet manifold.

I’m a bit out of my comfort zone on this as the leak isn’t obvious, will have to drop it in! I’ll update for everyone’s info but thanks for the input.

I had exactly the same issue and whooshing noise.
Drove it around for a few more days confused until the light came on and the vehicle lost power. Was a hole in one of the intercooler hoses. Replaced with silicone hoses. A real knuckly scraping job to do the lower elbow but ok to do. Loads on info on here if you fancy giving it a bash. |
