BeaTie is getting a little side lift, i am changing the side steps, What a fight we had to get two bolts off Rolling Eyes Just finished removing the old drivers side unit, well what was left of it. Its that rotten, the passenger side we thing the chequer plate is holding it all together. So tomorrow we will tackle the other side off and then start putting the new units on.

YRM do one piece sills, really easy to fit. You could have them painted then fit afterwards. You'd probably get some money back by selling yours with the chequer plate Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

yeah i am toying with that idea too, on replacing these sills, but i have checker plating on the rear corners too, that has to come off and get sorted. I will be left with holes off the rivets Shocked Another reason i hate checker stuff, Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

This week i have been semi mothballed, so while my dad was out of my hair, and at work i cracked on with a couple of jobs,
I managed to bag a proper genuine spotlamp kit, but i have some trouble, with dash wiring. I will post that in the relevant section on here. Thumbs Up

Also another security modification too, Which i had in storage for well over a year!

Gore hinges Very Happy

When you say your dash binnacle has crumbled, do you mean the front part where the gauges are mounted or the rear part that the front fixes to? If the latter then Raptor Engineering make a metal replacement that's better than the original in every way. If it's the front part then Raptor also make a replacement for that does look slightly different so it's more of a personal choice.

Its the front part, I have managed to buy a replacement unit for it, as its just a straight swop. My dad has the raptor setup, I one the front part in an auction, but my my dad bummed that off me a couple of years ago. I do like the two areas that light up on the TD5 so i just stuck with the standard replacement, the back piece i would look at replacing with the raptor unit though. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
