If you set your alarm off do you get just the horns or a siren as well? My understanding of it is if you can hear a siren you’ve got a BBUS.

I don't think that's right. I'm sure that the BBUS only sounds if the battery is disconnected (or flat).

The most definite way to check for the presence of a BBUS is to disconnect the battery without following the procedure to disarm the BBUS. Darren

1. set your alarm off you get the horns a BBUS

2. BBUS sounds if the main starting battery is disconnected (or its voltage drops below set point ).

Have you ever been thinking about a pedal lock

In the evening I install it in my truck - and I'm quite sure I'm gonna hear them grinding this 4 mm steel plate down next to my bedroom Wink

I think I am going to fit the optimill removable steering wheel and swivel lock looks to be one of the best prevention mods. I now dont think I ever had a bbus so I would like to install something that does the same job.
