Air Con vs Non Air Con Model
Hi all,

I’m new to this forum. Looking to acquire a Puma 90 model without air con.
Was wondering if anyone here knows what are the different specifications for this variant besides not having air con?
Is everything else the same or should I be expecting less features of that of an air con model?

Thanks...

Welcome!

When we configured our Puma it was possible to add air con without getting additional features we didn't wanted.
However, certain packages could only be ordered with air con. In my (German) 2015 list the packages "Black Design" and "Silver Design" required air con. But these packages just seem to include external "bling", so nothing important Wink
Maybe you can get an English version of a price list.

We bought the air con option, because it seemed very hard/expensive to retrofit one.

110 SE pack without air con / no ABS over here..

Personally, I don’t like air con and it was not included in the SE pack

Appreciating the sun roof ... Cool. MY 2010 / 2011 / 2012

As far as I know, there were basically 3 levels of spec. XS, County and Base (commonly referred to as poverty spec on this forum).

I do believe the XS models came with aircon PLUS traction control and ABS which the county and base models don’t have. Having said that, aircon was a stand alone option which could be specified on any level of trim.

Depending on variant, some base models won’t have alpine lights in the roof. Also no electric windows in base models.

Also different audio set-ups depending on spec.

However, as owners often modify and upgrade, you will encounter countless variations on a theme!

This is just what I’ve picked up from my observations here. I’m sure someone will be along soon who can provide a more definitive response
