Is there no storage compartment on the back of the driver and front passenger seats? Strange that they seem to be leaving little bits and pieces from the spec that are on the 110

This was a 20MY base spec car with cloth seats, I believe the 110 base model doesn’t have them either.

Do the rear seat squabs/ cushions lift up in the 90 to allow the seatbacks to fold into their place to give a flat load area (barring the step) like they do in the 110?

They didn’t on this pre production car, myself and my salesman had a play around but didn’t want to break anything.

I notice that none of them have the stupid squares on the sides. Darren

Lack of squares is essential.
I still can't help but think the 90 looks a little goofy, and I usually much prefer 2-door variants.
I'm not sure what it is, the length of the doors maybe? They are certainly huge compared to the classic 90, although as it's the only way to get to the back seats it's to be expected.

There’s going to be a review of 90 X P400 in the next issue of Land Rover Monthly

Don’t you hate it when you spend all that time designing your favourite one of a kind Defender online, you pay your deposit, you wait ages, you pick it up and take the family out to your favourite spot in the countryside........... Big Cry

The squares on a 110 are harmless, but on a 90 SW they are effectively a rear window delete option, so no surprise they've not been spec'ed on the demos!
