You know the old saying, its when they stop leaking you need to worry.......have you checked that you have oil in the engine Laughing

Grafty, I’m after a favour! Any chance you take a picture of how effective the light bar behind the vent is in the front of your landy. I really like the idea of not adding to the front of the 90 but still having the extra light.

Cheers

Indeed! There is definitely oil in there, I've just got home after a 200 mile journey and the engine didn't sieze so I'm guessing it's ok Laughing

I'll sort that for you Col, no problem Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I haven't forgotten the pics Col, they're en route!

It's been a busy week or so and I forgot to update the thread. Firstly I did a bit of tin tent towing (not a holiday). So there's a picture of that (showing off my newly acquired towing mirrors).

Also installed a new clutch master cylinder from IRB - a Wilwood item. Makes the clutch much lighter and being Wilwood is very nice quality. Forgot to take install pics but it fits identically to the original and, to be honest, looks pretty much identical.

Here it is before installing it Thumbs Up

As it makes the pedal lighter it needs to be installed in conjunction with a standard spring so I now have an LOF spring to go on the 110 Wink 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Cheers Grafty. Master cylinder makes a bike difference doesn’t it.

Me and Mrs Grafty were out in the 90 last night for her birthday. (The drive in the 90 was her birthday treat - not the meal out Laughing)

I took 3 pictures of my headlight /lightbar combo. Unfortunately the dipped and main with light bar pictures came out fine but the main without light bar is a bit blurry. Hopefully they're good enough to see the difference between light bar on and off?

If not I'll try again tonight Thumbs Up

Cheers Grafty. Which light bar did you got for? I can’t stretch to anything like laser, so is it just a case for going for any many watts as possible?

Basically, yes!

Mine was an eBay one, I can't remember what size. My view was that you get 90% of the performance for 10% of the cost. Currently 4 years in with no led failures. No radio interference either Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

They're JWSpeaker EVOII, Andy. They're really excellent, dipped beam is as good as any modern xenon or led headlights I've experienced. Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I tried it with the LOF spring but the pedal would stick at the bottom of its travel, its not and heavier with the standard spring tbh Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
