I have fitted replacement mud flaps the other day, while my dad was resting the old gammon joint. Only took a few mins to do, You would have thought someone had already had the bolts and bits ready Whistle

My water leakage is still about and the one in the rear has returned too, But under the far rear seat, so i am not sure if the window seal is failing or that i need to work on the dum dum again. The floor pans are mini ponds again, so the block replacement never did anything at all. so i am suspecting the seal is away around the window screen, and some where in the bulkhead too. ( engine bay wise) but i think i may have an idea from a video on how to fix that one if possible. Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Also its been great since the new battery was installed and its been my dads taxi too, for the doctors still struggles like hell to get in it, but not sure if he is just milking it. As he said the 306 was a nightmare to get in and out of. But would have thought that been a low car, it would have been easy. The last babe i dated had no bother at all, she had spinal problems so she would have found a defender a nightmare, to get in and out of. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Gave this a service today, hard to believe this it was a year ago since i serviced this! I wanted to change the bump stops but looking at those, i recon that will be a challenge and a half! The bolts are shot to hell! i may have to get some decent spanners on there and have a good go.
Not sure what the insurance will be like next year, now that i got busted in the 306 for doing 35mph down hill in a 30 Rolling Eyes Big Cry Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Hi procta Hopefully they will offer you a speed awareness course as then you’re insurance won’t be affected, Tash had one a couple of years ago and it has made no difference to the cost of her insurance (Aplan) Thumbs Up cheers Paul

been a good bit since i have updated this, I got offered the speed awareness course, i will do that when i break up from work,
I have just removed the old bump stops there, with my dads help, by christ the rears were shot! The rear pass just crumbled like a oat biscuit! Shocked We ended up having to tap the remains off! I need to do some welding to the back though, for the MOT, the tester passed it last year, but said it needs it. So i will be doing that before it goes in, a long with some new wiper blades. I have a few ideas for the interior brewing, But it will be only minor stuff for the time. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
