Its the hole for A/C pipe work


Part Number: 345140 but check has been long i may be wrong

Mine was missing as well. Two extra large penny washers a nut and bolt and sealer/hylomar job done. I used the body mount washers from classic range rovers or discovery as I had some

It’s to drain out water during heavy rain. After some discussion at Land Rover regarding where to put the drain hole, it was decided that up to three inches of water in the footwell was acceptable

Netherlands 2003 Defender 90 Td5 PU Caledonian Blue
I thought that a flat floor and not working doorseals were good enough to get the water in while wading and out after rain. Mr. Green

On the Camel Trophy Discoveries there were cuts in the bottom off the doorseals to let the water in while wading other wise the disco's would float to long. Roel

1984 90 2.5 na Diesel - RR V8 (1994-2001)
1997 Camel Trophy Discovery 300TDI (2001-2009)
2005 G4 Discovery III 4.4 V8 (2008-2018) It's gone but it still hurts.
2003 90 Td5 (2009-now)
