Puma Central Locking not operating rear doors
Hi all,

Just picked up my 2007 110 Puma and have noticed that the Central locking locks both front doors and the back door, but not the rear doors?

It's a bit weird why both doors are not working, has anyone got any pointers?

Many thanks in advance! Craig Rogers

one of my rear doors would not lock-it turned out to be a broken wire in the rubber sleeve where it bends between the door and the door pillar.Seems like yours are not connected up to the system. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Thanks Spudfan,

I'll get a multimeter to the wires and check for voltage.

Does anyone know where the control unit for the central locking is? Under driver's seat? Craig Rogers

Door locking unit is part of the alarm system - the box is mounted on the bulkhead behind the fuse box (made difficult to get to for obvious reasons).
First thought is as spudfan says, a break in the sleeves between the door pillars and the doors. I had great fun with this when one of mine shorted out on locking the vehicle and blew the fuse for the CDL.
The cables from both rear doors come together in the box under the driver's seat, on connectors C2004/5

Purple wire on pin 1 and orange wire on pin 3.
All the motor supplies come from the same pins on the CDL ECU so your problem is definitely a wiring fault.

Well after some multimeter action, the connector under the driver's seat had power, but both rear doors didn't.

It ended up being exactly as mentioned (and a common problem it seems). Both doors had broken cables within rubber flexi-pipes. Bit of solder later and all doors are now locking.

Once again, thanks for all your help!!!!
