So it gets so hot it turns the snow to water and then vapourises that before it can fall through the intake grill? Impressive. Didn't realise they did a nuclear Eberspacher. |

E-mailed the chap - he's making a new mould at the moment as to improve the finish and should have some more ready for next week when he'll re-list them. He said he'd pop me a note beforehand. I'll put it here so interested parties can get the jump.
Anyone who bought one care to comment on the finish..? |

Finish is fine, no flaws, good if you want to paint over - I just left mine and have had comments from a couple of Land Rover garages about where I got it.
Happy punter And it does seem, that combined with my noisekiller blanket, the engine & the cab do heat up a lot quicker..... Plus it keeps all the rain, snow, pine needles etc out of the heater intake 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

Just a thought, but in heavy rain with standing water and trucks coming towards you in the other lane, isnt the water from their wheels going to rush up the snow guard?

No. In the unlikely event that they were travelling close enough and fast enough to send water vertically up the side of the wing, the wheel arch provides protection. Darren

I don't have one so no axe to grind but in the event the set of circumstances exist for this to happen is it any worse than a torrential downpour with the standard grill fitted? |

The other fundamental consideration of course, is that trucks passing in tthe other lane would be on the other side of the vehicle... Darren
