I had one on my 90 and 110, took it off eventually, because it really restricts the air flow through your heater (and you'd have one fitted when it was cold.... snow.... so you'd want plenty of heat inside the cab!)

position "1" of the heater blower was non existant, and position "2" was really about "1.25"

Works fine on mine ... not noticed any flow difference Confused
Works fine on mine too. I'd read several posts on here with regard to water leaking into the footwell via the vents. So keeping water out was my primary reason for fitting it and it's not quite so noticable now it's painted.

I haven't noticed any difference in heater performance either. Keeping the water out was reason enough for me to fit one too. Darren

But on the Puma the heater is a blast furnace compared to a TD5 heater, so you get no difference in output with a snow cover fitted. Thumbs Up

I bought a branchards ex-military one from the bay, it was brand new, needed spraying with plasticoat, I have not noticed a reduction of air flow.

Jamie - which one did you fit ? there is one on the market with a pollen filter - (i think that might restrict air flow but i'd like to see it tested)

They come in very handy, even when you don't live in the Highlands of Scotland. Whistle
