I haven't noticed any difference in heater performance either. Keeping the water out was reason enough for me to fit one too. Darren

But on the Puma the heater is a blast furnace compared to a TD5 heater, so you get no difference in output with a snow cover fitted. Entreq snow cover. I prefer the fibreglass version [hence why i never bought a metal one sooner] Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

I bought a branchards ex-military one from the bay, it was brand new, needed spraying with plasticoat, I have not noticed a reduction of air flow.
Jamie - which one did you fit ? there is one on the market with a pollen filter - (i think that might restrict air flow but i'd like to see it tested) |
