After a drive yesterday, I am not 100% convinced on the extra height the rails give.
I am not sure if its something I need time to get used to or not. If I am sticking with the extra height then I need to alter the cubby box height as now its too low. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

I need to give the rails a bit longer to see if I can get comfortable with them. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Hi John, I went for a Hella in the end as I could not get a Denso in time and Hella is supposed to be a decent 'safe' brand. Apparently made in Germany. What could go wrong eh?!
Tell you what though, the TD5 does not like 18v ![]() |

Should go faster thoughβ¦
![]() When I upgraded by cordless drill from a 12v model to an 18v model it was an improvement all round - you just need to give it time⦠|

Ha... ![]() ![]() ![]() Well all is back to where it should be. Picked up the replacement replacement alternator and Miffy is now being supplied with a consistent 14v +/-. Good for another 200k miles or so ![]() |
