TD5 Non Start

Hello,

Sorry for what may seem another non start issue, however after searching thread after thread i cant find any similar symptoms (other than it wont start)

Long story short, my landy stalled in gear and when trying to re-start it there was nothing. Only lights on dash are amber ecu lamp, coil light and fog light, had no other warning lamps on with ignition at position II. Managed to push start it and got it home, but have since not been able to get the problem solved. I have done the following;

Replaced starter motor
Replaced Battery
Replaced ignition switch
Checked all feeds including starter relay and there appears to be a good feed of power everywhere
Checked fly wire on starter and is getting a feed

Hoping someone can guide me on where to look next.

I havent no, do i need to just press the switch or check the current through it?

When you say it won’t start, you mean it won’t fire or the engine doesn’t even turn over?

You say you replaced the starter motor, new? The solenoid is operating correctly?

Sounds like a bad gearbox or transfer box earth to me. I'd be checking all earths and battery connections

Definately try the inertia switch too as above

Doesnt turn over, as if there is no power, but there is as there is as have checked the voltage and current from the ignition switch right through to the starter and there is a cirrent going right through.

When i turn key to point II on the switch the dash doesnt bring up any of the normal warning lights e.g. battery, oil etc, i just have the amber coil light and eml and a fog warning light, turn the key further and there is just nothing, i can hear the starter relay click and as said above i know its putting current across the circuit.

Have checked the earth and nothing seems to be lose or corroded and the connections at the battery appear in good order.

Brand new starter and brand new battery.

Ok will give them another look over once checked inertia switch.

When the inertia switch is tripped, generally, you don't get glow plug or MIL. 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Can rule out inertia switch, just checked that.

Will give the earth straps another check and clean them up.

If this fails are there any other thoughts?

With ignition at position II is main relay and fuel pump relay operating can you hear the fuel pump

No cant hear fuel pump.
