Scotland 2002 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Oslo Blue
I've just spent a good while restoring the broken photo links in the first four pages of this thread with ones from my new Flickr account, hopefully that should be the end of the photo hosting problems.

Since I can't drive just now, and have been limited to what I can do, I have been trying very hard not to keep buying bits for the 90. It is VERY difficult when you can operate a laptop & do internet shopping, & not much else including simple things like tying shoelaces!

However, I did order a few bits from MUD (last week, before the sale Big Cry ) and yesterday I fitted the snow cowl

Now I just need to get physio & the ok to drive the truck again, been heartbreaking watching my dad drive off to work in it! Mark S

Thanks to RRUK and our ever-helpful courier Dave, I now have XS seats in my 90. Also must thank FCX for the excellent wiring loom that I fitted over the weekend, complete with genuine Td5 switches, the while setup works like a dream.

No photos just now as I'm still to see them in dayight- at the moment I come to work in the dark, work through the daylight hours, then go home in the dark again. Hopefully remember at the weekend. Mark S

Thanks fathaggis Thumbs Up

Awning was found on eBay- a caravan/motorhome owner was selling a new one he hadn't fitted then had sold the vehicle.

Find out what length/size will fit your rack, then just keep scouring eBay til one turns up at a reasonable price. Mark S

It's Oslo Blue, and yes I was lucky to get one this colour.

Here's the photos i took on the fitting of the XS seats:

There's no photos of the wiring loom as there's not much to see, but I can highly recommend the FCX wiring loom if you're planning to fit heated seats to a lower spec Defender Thumbs Up Mark S

Here's more info now I've got time to reply properly-

It's a Fiamma Caravanstore awning, they have dimensions listed on their website for the various models, as well as a video on how easy they are to put up & take down: http://www.fiamma.com/EN/products/fiammast...avanstore/

You need to take into account the length of the whole thing when packed away, you might have noticed that mine is slightly longer than the roof rack. The awning needs a solid surface to brace against, as the supports push out from the vehicle to the legs. Both the legs and supports fold away inside the awning tube so it's very neat & compact. I don't use the standard guy ropes, as I carry ratchet straps suitable for the purpose anyway.

As I said earlier, I didn't buy new but kept an eye out on eBay and the like for a suitably sized used one. Mark S

Thanks Very Happy

It's not clear in the photo above- we had special decorations in the window:

After a long day at work, I came back to the 90 to find this on the bonnet:

I fitted my 'Blue Sea' twin USB sockets to the dash today, just to the right of the standard cigarette lighter socket.

Just realised I haven't taken a photo, which isn't like me at all Laughing Mark S
