Seatbelt Bolt for B-Pillar on Puma Part Number or ID
Hello, in installing an internal cage to the 100, I lost the bolt securing the top on the seatbelt to the B pillar...the top reel located above your shoulder. I read it was a special thread. Does any anyone have a part number for that bolt so I can order a replacement? I cant believe I lost it. Thank you

Seat belt fixings are usually 7/16 UNF

There's no separate part listed for the bolt, as far as LR are concerned they are "captive" and not supplied on their own from the seat belt assembly.

It is highly likely to be a standard 7/16 UNF seat belt bolt, just getting the right length.

Is it for the "D" or the reel?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

It's not available from LR as an individual part, it is part of the seat belt assembly (so about £200 to replace). As noted above it should be a 7/16" UNF HT setscrew and it should be reasonably easy to replace.

If you've only lost one measure the length off the other.

Edit, post crossed with Martini.

This is for the D, I believe. Up above the shoulder towards the top of the B pillar. Any idea the length? Is Grade 8 sufficient?

They are both gone... kinda the last bit needed to nip up the 6 point internal cage install ! Devil is in the details as they say!

Being imperial rather than metric they'd normally be specified using SAE grades, and an SAE grade 5 (equivalent to metric 8.8 ) would be ok and almost certainly what was there originally. SAE grade 8 (equivalent to metric 10.9) would of course also be ok. Don't go lower than SAE 5 or metric 8.8.

They're quite long, perhaps 2", since they have to pass through the belt D and the stand-off swivel. Do a Google image search and you should find a picture e.g. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-EVB500820PMA
