Thank you mate.
With the exterior pretty much sorted time for the internals . The box on the left will house the battery which all the extra bits will connect to fridge/cooker all aux lights charging points . Plan is to keep all the wiring as simple as possible.. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge |

Have you had your leaking top sorted by Dormobile now ??
It seemed to be a bit of too-ing and frow-ing regarding getting the top fitted properly. How are you enjoying the camper ?? any updates ?? ![]() Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |

Hello mate thank you .. the leak issue with Dormobile.. they have said to us that they can’t do anything until they have done the research and are able to provide a full waterproof option .. which I find interesting as they are still providing Land Rover tops if you look at the feeds on Facebook….
That aside we love the camper but have lost a lot of faith in the company.. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge The interior is coming along well / we’ll we think so |

I saw the numerous posts by Dormobile on their site with several landrover conversions - seems that they are just looking at the next customer all the time.
![]() Updates are looking good !! each one is unique and personal - so keep on posing your progress ![]() (my partner is looking forward to meeting Alison, yourself (?) and Ophelia later in the month just down the road from us! ) Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 ![]() |

Oh excellent mate … didn’t realise…
So result ish from Dormobile… full refund which is lovely however it still leaves us with a leaking roof and something we can’t change . They have however offers to replace the canopy when they have a waterproof one as long as we pay for the canvas we shall see … So on we go ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Our mobile lights usb charging and movement sensor works well and no wiring. |

coming on well there! How is the mud console? i have toyed with the idea of fitting one of those, the mud interior light, i had in my old Defender, i couldn't see the point in having the Red LED. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Greeting sir have to say really like the mud console. It was easy to fit its wobble and noise free and works for what we wanted. I’ve one of the lights in my other truck as well and I had to say it’s again for us works really well the white led is extremely bright as is the red . The red is ideal for camping as insects are not sewn to the red spectrum of light |
