Where did you read about the DH‘s brown out issue? I thought they fixed that with this update?
Also brown out and possible LED problems would be technically unrelated so one cant infer one from the other. |

I was about to say it was from re reading the link you provided, and I’m trying to remember if in the remotekey link it made me think DH units were ok, but re reading that it infers both are impacted.
Ps. I raised the led issue as a caution from the remotekey link, right at the bottom, and again no distinction between CH and DH units so wise to confirm with them if its just CH or both. No info on there as to if it’s connected to the brownout, just states they have had issues |

![]() re LEDs I meant Race. Its statement "does not suffer from these brown outs if the LED bulbs are used". anyway, remotekey says "A problem with Defender 2012 onwards with the black unit fitted is they don’t function with LED interior lighting, we have had problems with the interior light circuit failing when LED’s are used." I read that as not the whole unit burns to ashes but "just" the automatic light on/off dim feature. Well, I could live without that ![]() ![]() |

Did not want to alarm, at present I have a as10 but don’t have led lights inside, so was more a confirmation that the as10 don’t suffer issues associated with others. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |
