Britpart !!

I fitted a genuine one ?,, well supplied by main deal in a box with Landrover on it,, and inside is identical to the one that came off, number, sticker, etc ? and vendor said it was a gen one he fitted ? So Britpart/Landrover could be supplying each other California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Well,, 35 miles to get to the section, at midnight last night, the 90 ran well,

Set section up, and check the hill (Actually, is a BOAT, ) low box, and the dam thing is back to it old tricks,
could hardly pull itself up the hill, even in first , big flat spot and hesitant, boot it, and the odd occasion, you can drive through it , feels like skippy in the tank !! then a couple of time, the Mil comes on, and no throttle whatsoever, but restart sorted it Tried it also in high box, no difference

Luck would have it, most of the competitors that failed the hill, did at the very start, so backed down and took the bypass route
so no recovered was needed

Section finished about 8am this morning, after nearly 200 cars and bikes,,,drove out, after the engine had been ticking over a few hours , and still drove like a bag of bolts, got it to main road, high box, and still the same, for about half mile, then fine, drove back the 35 miles, no problem

Censored off at present is a understatement Banging Head Banging Head California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Wow. I’m surprised. Could both pedals be faulty? Although most don’t run rough, just cut out, light on, and stuck at tickover.

Well, Fingers crossed sorted

Replaced pedal socket and loom,, all good to go now,,
Question is ? why 2 pedals in 6 months , the August one certainly does not work, have the feeling the loom may have been the problem back then ?
But would the loom "burn" out the august unit ? As it was fitted by previous owner ? can only speculate

Thanks for the input guys

Is the genuine one that was fitted in Aug still warranted ?? 04' 90 Td5 CSW..

Because as I said before the issue probably isnt the pedal.

When driver demand came up on my 110 it was due to a dead MAP sensor. On my 90 it was a dead crank sensor.

Driver demand does not equal pedal issues. Just means the car cannot or will not do what the driver wants.

Have you checked those sensors? Instagram @defender_ventures

Probadley,, but as i did not buy or fit it,, but it is a avenue that os being followed up Wink

Not looked at it since i got back,, but before, when the aug pedal was fitted, would not work, the new one does,
90 drove well for 35 odd miles there and back, just while it was on recovery duties, it was playing up, with same symptoms as before

Can say i have ever seen a "intermittent " crank sensor ? California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1
