Thanks lads, Yeah its a massive nightmare at the moment, Sad
had an interview with the insurance just now there, so they have the Theft no now and my local police number. To chase things up too.
But its all in the hands of the gods now as its been since it was taken. Sad
My plans this year are now up in arms sadly. Sad Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Sorry old chap, but you may wish to start getting together some supporting evidence of your cars value like similar ones for sale, unless your policy is agreed. In my limited experience ,the average insurance company is not the friendly person you signed up with.

yeah I am going to be going through all that tomorrow night. If I get what I owe the bank I will be happy as that the debt cleared and I can always come back again with a bigger budget now since I am full time contract Thumbs Up Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

No more news on this, looks like this ones a gonna sadly Big Cry
So I will have to get my toys and paper work ready for the insurance, then its a case of paying the bank off and then look for another one. Shame this one was a good one Sad

Ask the insurance company to find you a like for like replacement to start with. When they struggle to do that within what they think yours was worth then you can get them to accept its true value and either a) get a more realistic payout or b) go for a better vehicle provided by them with you paying a top up.
