When I rebuilt it, I used all new genuine seals. So that's door, roof to side panels, side panels to tub, roof to windscreen frame and windscreen frame to bulkhead. (tub to seatbox too, now I think about it).

Then using dumdum and cloth tape make sure all of the gaps in the door seal lips are filled.

As I fitted new doors they had the later lower seals - which are a big improvement over the early type.

After all that it's just a case of chasing any remaining leaks. I was lucky in the fact that I didn't have any after the rebuild Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Thumbs Up

Cruise control is a must! It's dead easy to fit and works immediately if you're on standard gearing. I use it all the time Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I’ve looked at fitting cruise to mine, it does seem fairly simple although I’ve not got standard gearing... I’ve got a disco ratio in my t box.

How does this change things?

Fitting is the same, the only difference is you'll need to fit a speedo healer between the speedo and ECU so that the ECU thinks you're travelling slower than you are.

I think there is a post somewhere on this very topic. I've been running taller gearing and a speedo healer for about 6 years, faultlessly Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

It's been a while since an update, nothing much has been happening as we're extremely busy on site.

Good news though. I've just acquired a new tool for the 90 - an original nanocom. Can't wait to start fiddling Rolling with laughter

I've got mine ready to go as well! Im hoping that because my speedo reads bang on I won't need the healer. Also apparently you can tweak the ECU to suit any gearing/tyre size which would be ideal!

First day off in a while today - got the genuine AC kit fitted to my 90 thanks to Steve_overland for delivering Thumbs Up

All plumbed in and fitted. I just need to work out the relays for the ECU to control the compressor clutch and condenser fan. If someone could tell me if the ECU pulls the relays to ground (I suspect it does) that would be excellent Thumbs Up

Anyway, here it is in the dash
